Gillian Anderson's awesome facial expressions (and acting) are what make the X-Files so brilliant! I loved the show then and love it even more now (until Mulder leaves and the newest seasons are god awful). The stand alone episodes are the best and the show in those episodes was so good because it did not take itself seriously and was FUNNY. Bad Blood an Syzygy are two of the best episodes, ever!

Gillian Anderson was tormented by David Duchovny, who was a smug asshole in the '90s, and who rightfully acknowledges today that Gillian is the far better actor (and all around human being). Anderson is all class and does not talk about what an asshole Duchovny was to her.
