Wow. Merritt Paulson knew about the abuse that Paul Riley was perpetrating while it was happening and did nothing?

Excellent piece as always, but I would suggest that the Timbers effort did not match the occasion. With very occasional exceptions, one a miracle, the will to come up big and seize the day was not apparent in their play. I know this will touch a sore spot, but it's hard to imagine Seattle having this opportunity and blowing it.
