I don't get it. Does the nudity have anything to do with the content? If not erotic does it add something?

How about some truly groundbreaking. Clothed women doing just about anything is this town. Maybe in other cities that have stronger nudity laws this has proper shock factor but here in strip-happy PDX, it's just dumb and redundant.
You want to see naked girls reading? ( and wicked hot ones at that) Go to Sassy's,Devils Point, Mary's or Lucky Devil on any given night and you will more than once see a dancer hanging out with a book at the bar.
