I totally, totally agree. Watching Glee is alternating between pure pleasure and cringing embarrassment.

Sad, but what can one expect here in the wilderness? If one has talent one goes to New York. Or London. Or Seattle, even. But Portland? I enjoyed my brief stay here trying to inject humour into this "newspaper", but unfortunately, it was beyond even my skills.

I return merely to enjoy the lagers. If only the humour were on a similar level. One could only hope.
