iceprez - Sometimes you are. Maybe not in Portland, as we have such a high demand for pets here, but there are other shelters around the country that do still put a lot of animals down. And better to "not save" a dog from a shelter than buy a puppy from a breeder. That just increases demand, f-ing cute as tiny puppies are. Our OHS doggy is such a sweetie.
Show and ERN- Agreed. It's just the language that gets to me, especially the way people tend to close their eyes smugly on the word RESCUE when they tell you how they got their dog or cat, haha! Now, pull a Yorkie from the clutches of a great white shark? You've got yourself a full-fledged fuckin' rescue dog, my friends.
Men also have a responsibility to womens vaginas. When your penis is swollen and you find a decent vagina to take that swelling away, you mustn't then hold said penis hostage in an attempt to emotionally abuse that vagina. A broken heart/sexual manipulation is the fastest way to turn a decent pussy into a fat pussy. Not that I would know.
(Re: Brian Allan Cobb's letter)
To the "professional motorist who dares to peek out into a crosswalk or green area to see if it's safe to make a right turn on a red" and is then surprised when people get upset: if that "green area" is one of the green "bike boxes" commonly found at intersections all over Portland, you should know that it is illegal for motor vehicles to turn right on red there. Thankfully, most motorists, professional and amateur, notice and obey the "NO RIGHT ON RED EXCEPT BICYCLES" sign.
Brian Allan Cobb: if you make your living by driving, then you should know more than anyone about how to legally enter a crosswalk. You should also know that there are circumstances when a cyclist may legally pass on the right. Suggestion: leave the truck parked until you can make your way to the Oregon Revised Statutes (Google it) and learn how to drive.
