Hey anonymous, guess what ....YOUR'RE NOT UGLY! How do I know? Psychic abilitiy...Yeah that'll work...Anyway, thanks to the wonder that is the current trend in TV, magazines, and other mediums (like turning teenagers into whores---I'm looking at you Miley!) unless you are -99 lbs, go to the plastic surgeon every other week, all while denying the finger down your throut, not to mention a willingness to put out with, well everyone/thing, you are not going to be a hottie in any MTV watching guy's eyes. Sorry.

However, the best thing of all is knowing that there are people out there who don't think with their dick/vaginas glued to the TV screen, they are out there A-girl. I found one, and he says there a plenty of people like him looking for love, it's just they have the same problem you do A-girl, execpt it's dealing with obnoxious chicks. It'll happen, trust me.

P.S. Stop with the self-beat up mentaltiy, it's really not your fault. Plus, the RIGHT guys dig self confidence.

P.S.S I got to see a guy who blew me off (metaphorically speaking) gain 30lb's and a nice bald spot. Stick around, it gets better.

Another A-girl

Regarding Anonymous, I would like to say that the single most important thing I have learned from over ten years of stripping (and I don't mean paint) is that no matter what someone looks like there are people in the world (and more specifically in Portland) that think that person is physically perfect. Humans are wired to be attracted to random and different things... if we weren't only five percent of humanity would be getting any action and the rest of us would die off. You see it all the time when a person points out someone that they think is *hot* and their friend is like, "Really? Them? Are you sure?" I've met men who preferred long hair, short hair, no hair, long armpit hair, big noses, small noses, brown eyes, blue eyes, squinty eyes, symmetrical features, uneven features, pale skin, dark skin, skin with blemishes, thin builds, muscled builds, voluptuous builds, etc. I know a guy who thinks girls are sexiest if they have a limp (I secretly suspect he only hangs out with me because I'm clumsy). I recently had a double mastectomy and started chemotherapy, and I've been hit on more times since my surgery (a month ago) than the whole year before when I had fabulous breasts (apparently I have fabulous no breasts, who'da thunk?). One thing I don't know a lot of, though, is people who are attracted to people that are convinced they aren't worth dating. In fact, I myself broke things off with a fabulous boy because every day he informed me multiple times that he was convinced I would break up with him (it was his only flaw). So, whatever it is about you that makes you "stereotypically ugly", rest assured that there is somebody out there that thinks that is your best feature.

Hey Anonymous. No one is ugly! I agree with the ladies commented before me. I went through the same insecurity phase during my college and younger years. Even today I still feel insecure at times. But you know what? I realized makeup and plastic surgery isn't going to save me. My personal experience is I started expressing my passion in recreation and creative activities. I started running and aimed for marathons every year. I got into shape and I feel much more secure. I'm happy with myself. Even though I've always been fashionably conscious, but instead of having feel the pressure to look good I turn that into a creative outlet. I wear fun clothes that I personally feel it outputs the person I am. I really have to thank my friend and boyfriend though. They motivated me throughout the journey and constantly encourage me in every event. Maybe what you need is to find that passion. Whether it be swimming or knitting or cooking or something new or old. And you know what? Its there you will find the people who will be attracted to you and appreciate you. I met my boyfriend not in a gay bar or steam room but in a book club. And we've been together over a year now.

Please wait...
