Regarding WOK,
I think it IS a major conflict. This guy is supposedly DEVOUTLY RELIGIOUS (he wants to be an ordained minister at his church - i don't see how else that can be interpreted), but at the same time, he's into bondage, kink, or whatever. For fuck sakes, he can't have it BOTH ways. If he feels that his chosen religion (christendom) allows for him [as a gay man] to live a "perverted" lifestyle, then maybe it ought to allow for many other sorts of things too - such as abortion, gay marriage, equal rights for ALL races, secular education, etc. And if THAT'S the case, then maybe it ought not be called christianity - maybe something else like... humanism. Or just being down-right decent. But ofcourse, WOK's chosen religion does not allow for any of these things.
So, what is it with these christians who want to have their cake & eat it too, huh? It's a bitch to have to live by pious, stifling religious rules, isn't it? But these are THEIR goddamned rules! THEY came up with these rules & tried to make everyone else live by them.
So, WOK can either be a happy gay kinkster & have all his fun... or he can remain tethered, mentally enslaved to a stifling primitive religion. Or he can just continue to be a coward & a hypocrite & live this double-life & lie to everyone he knows.
