Hmmm re: withdrawal versus condoms. The numbers Planned Parenthoods for failure rates are 2% (condoms) and 4% (withdrawal) if used perfectly, same as Dan, but 15% and 27% for used imperfectly for withdrawal. I support him reassuring this guy that DON'T FREAK OUT YET CHANCES ARE GOOD YOU'VE JUST BEEN LUCKY, and that for safe/aware/not worried about STIs or pregnancy sexual partners withdrawal is a valid and effective option, but there is a much bigger difference between 15% and 27% than there is between 17% and 18%.

And the statistics don't mean jack shit, since sexual acts are not controlled experiments by any stretch of the imagination.

Also sounds like dude isn't withdrawing. In which case probably the woman doesn't want to get pregnant and is controlling her ovaries with her mind.
