Are you in the service industry? Do you have your OLCC Servers card or Oregon Food Handlers card? Do you like to have an insanely good time with fantastic, loud music—for totally free?

Then you, my friend, are in luck. PBR and the Portland Mercury are teaming up to bring you a FREE show at the Doug Fir with the likes of Red Fang and the Thermals. Yup! It's going to be awesome. The show is on Monday, March 5, with two of Portland's biggest, best bands blowing your face off. There will be beer—oh there will be beer—and music aplenty, plus all your fellow service industry pals. PBRs and Rainier will be a mere buck a piece, and excellent local band Divers kick off the night—plus there will be some Sizzle Pie up for grabs at the beginning of the evening, so make sure you get there early.

Here are the details, and pay attention 'cause it's a little tricky. You'll need to have an OLCC or Food Handler's card to get in. And yes it is free, but you'll need to RSVP over here. There will be a list at the Doug Fir with the names of everyone who's RSVP'ed, so you want to make sure your name is on that list. Also, this is going to be packed, so admittance is based on capacity. If you arrive late, you may need to wait in line a little bit, until enough people have left and there's room. That's it! Holy shit! This is going to be a blowout.

Red Fang! The Thermals! Doug Fir, 830 E Burnside, Mon March 5, 8 pm, FREE (OLCC/Food Handler card required)—RSVP here
