Wait, Sigur Rós, we were only kidding! Come back!

Look, when you get down to it, Sigur Rós is a very silly band. Yes, their music sounds super serious and important. But really, it's a man singing made up words in falsetto. It's not that different from Tiny Tim. This week, I turned in the last of my journalistic credibility in order to make a bunch of stupid jokes about the Icelandic band. Enjoy.

The Great Idea festival is a musical festival in the most magical place on Earth: Oregon's fantasyland theme park Enchanted Forest. This is not just a win for you and me; this is a win for the entire universe.

If there's anyone in music more ridiculous than Sigur Rós, it might be Jack White. Doesn't mean the man can't put together a great rock song, though.
