Despite its less-than-accessible price tag, TEDxPortland is actually worth your hard-earned money. Each year they curate an excellent panel of local and n organizers, leaders and thinkers to share their “ideas worth spreading.” This year’s event (themed “re.imagine”) has a very intriguing lineup, which includes Salt & Straw co-founder Tyler Malek, Hotel Rwanda Family & Survivor Carine Kanimba, Carbon Engineering CEO Steve Oldham, and many more.
