The Ocean Blue, The Minders, Lost Lander

Who would have guessed that one of the longest-serving and most consistent dream pop bands of our modern era would hail from Hershey, Pennsylvania? That self-proclaimed “Sweetest Place on Earth” was the birthplace of The Ocean Blue, a quartet that has, since the late ’80s, served up jangly, breathy tunes that cut to our lovelorn, angst-ridden cores with sweetness and light. The band arrives in town in support of their fantastic new album Kings and Queens/Knaves and Thieves and with a bevy of familiar jams (“Drifting, Falling”) at their fingertips.
