In 2015, 21 youth plaintiffs sued the government for violating protections for the generation’s rights to life, liberty, and property, citing a failure to adequately address climate change. The monumental case, now known as Juliana v. United States, is scheduled to have the next hearing here in Portland. Show up and gather with fellow supporters a few blocks away.
