National Book Foundation’s “5 Under 35” honoree Lydia Kiesling reads from her debut novel, The Golden State, chronicling the journey of a young mother and her toddler who set out to leave their struggles in San Francisco behind and start again in the the desert of Altavista. Kiesling will be joined in conversation by Meaghan O’Connell, author of And Now We Have Everything.
