I thought people would be more offended that they don't actually sell these. I mean, it kind of blows the old double stuffed oreo out of the water.
2
Any guesses on which of those people also comments here as "stjohnsrules?"
3
More dishonesty from Drunk and Write. Cookies don't concern me. Now, crackers.....they are fucking evil. Wait, that wasn't racist..... oh never mind.
4
I HATE IT WHEN BUSINESSES I DON'T LIKE GET BOYCOTTED BY PEOPLE I DON'T LIKE. WHOSE SIDE DO I TAKE?
5
If these bigots actually boycotted businesses that supported gay rights, they'd lose a whole bunch of weight. Might be the thing for 'em.
6
I like the way you're thinking, C&B. We could solve the nation's obesity epidemic if major fast food chains started supporting marriage equality.
7
My only issue is that the Oreo is poorly photoshopped.
8
Calling people "bigots" for not supporting gay marriage is lazy and disrespectful. No wonder there are so many people against it.
9
Calling people "lazy and disrespectful" for correctly identifying bigots is, oh hell, you're just going to respond with a four-paragraph screed about attacks on religion no matter what I say.
10
Actually, I can imagine a world without Nabisco and already boycott it because it is Monsanto owned, and not because they support the LGBTQI community. Oppression from every angle. Damn.
11
Good. You're learning D&W. But knock it off with the "bigot" shit. People can support traditional marriage without being bigoted or homophobic. If I were gay, I wouldn't want people like you helping me out on this one. You're making people fight against the very thing you want by going to the lowest common denominator without the courtesy of giving people an actual opinion about the subject. That is why I call you lazy. Too many people do that. Try better to explain yourself. I believe in you, BRAH!!!!
12
The description of the cream filling kind of ruins the story... all set to buy some yummeos to support the company... but crisco and corn syrup and monsanto, OH MY!
13
Heresy never tasted so good.

SJR: "Traditional Marriage Supporters" wouldn't be labelled bigots if they were focused on, you know, supporting traditional marriages. But they can't leave it there, they have to make sure that "supporting traditional marriage" means denying basic rights to someone else, because somehow someone else's marriage is a threat to their own marriage. And... you do all this cloaked in a religious context - trying to impose a religious set of values on society's and government's laws. So, I'll go one step further: Most "Traditional Marriage Supporters" are not only bigots, but bigots who have no problem shitting on one of the Constitution's main principles - separation of church and state.

pdxMB: Whether you understand this or not, America and religion are intertwined. Many of the simplest laws are laws based on simple morality. Thou shalt not....fill in the blanks. I'm not saying religion, (most religions having something negative to say about gay activities) is the ultimate authority on this matter. What I am trying to get across to people is this issue is much more than religion persecuting gay people. In my own humble opinion, I suggest that gay marriage supporters are on the offensive here. I can see very clearly that this is an attack on religious institutions and it isn't merely about this issue. There are other fringe groups out there hell bent on banning religion (Atheists to name one), which is never going to happen in our country. Want proof? Hit the link in the article that says "compilation post" and scroll down. You'll see how much this is an attack on religion instead of merely being about "equality". One poster even goes as far as saying "Can we please ban religion already?" It's proof that it is an attack on traditional marriage as it has been defined for centuries and I see no reason to change that for groups who are bent on attacking religion over it. Liars should never be rewarded.
15
I am a Christian and I support full marriage equality in America. So does my church.
16
As a vegan, I.
17
I'm not religious and I refuse to endorse one group attacking another. No matter who started it.
18
You said that people who support marriage equality are attacking religion. How do you reconcile that with my previous comment?
19
You could be making up your religious affiliation, D&W. There is so much dishonesty from the liberals on this subject, pardon me if I call bullshit on you. You could belong to the Church of Satan. You could belong to a Unitarian Church. The Church of Elvis (Rest your soul, mama). These are all bastardized churches and there are many like them. Personally, I don't care which church with whom you claim your affiliation. Bottom line is most major religions disagree with homosexuality in one way or another to differing degrees. You know damn well what I meant and I know exactly what you are trying to do. You're being dishonest, to say the least. But that's ok. I just wanted you to know that I know what you are doing and I'm not going to back down. Now, try to debate me with facts instead of trying to cloud the issue with useless innuendo about your unproven claims of piety and I promise I won't call you a jellyfish in an increasingly ebbing political tide.
20
I belong to the United Church of Christ and grew up Presbyterian. You just attacked my religion.

I don't know what you meant, because you're sitting here attacking my religion (and accusing me of lying) while accusing everyone else of attacking religion.
21
You're a liar, D&W. You do that to gain sympathy for your views. Pathetic as hell, really.
22
I am a world before I am a man
I was a creature before I could stand
I will remember before I forget
BEFORE I FORGET THAT!
23
Well then. That was productive.

Seriously, how has cookie turned into an attack on "traditional marriage" and some sort blanket "religion?" What's happening here is several people trying to make points to someone who clearly thinks he or she is a great debater because it's super easy to bend logic in a forum where you're not held to any accountability. The best way to diminish the Most Important Person on the Internet is to ignore him or her. Like me... I'll never come back here to see if someone defines "idiot" with my name because it doesn't matter. It's the internet and it means nothing. Nobody cares. Fight for your causes in a real and meaningful ways.
27
If you don't care, why are YOU responding? We all care. Your "bending logic" assertion is absurd. My primary aim is to bring balance to this issue. The fact that people call others a "bigot" for supporting traditional marriage is absolutely bogus. People do this to further their agenda. They cower behind political correctness and think they are above criticism for their own views. The gay marriage supporters here and in other media outlets have proven themselves to be quite intolerant. I suggest you read all of my posts before you pass judgment on my intentions here.

Please wait...
