Good tamales but not low priced in my opinion. They are small tamales and 2 doesn't get anywhere near filling, so that is $7-9 dollars to have a very tasty dish but not a meal. Throw in a side you are getting closer but for this style restaurant and hood it seems pricey. The decor and atmosphere is great though. My only other complaint is that they advertise vegan options but nothing is labeled on the menu (or the one I saw opening week), used to be easy to figure out at the truck. I think the banana leaf veg tamales are vegan but none of the other ones are.
