Anthony Bourdain at the Heathman

Heathman Hotel, 1001 SW Broadway, 790-7752, Wed June 14, reading at 6 pm, free; dinner 7:45 pm, $45, reservations required

Hottie celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain will be at the Heathman to read from his new book, The Nasty Bits: Collected Varietal Cuts, Useable Trim, Scraps, and Bones. The Nasty Bits promises more of the behind-the-scenes gossip and muckraking that made Kitchen Confidential a runaway success. If the prospect of culinary horror stories isn't titillating enough, the reading will be followed by a three-course dinner prepared by Heathman Chef Philippe Boulot and inspired by recipes from Bourdain's NYC restaurant, Les Halles.
