I'm agnostic, so I don't really have a dog in the fight, but before you spout your prejudices as fact, you might want to double-check them. While more Republicans than Democrats are hardcore creationists, a significant percentage of Democrats and Independents are as well. And a very strong majority of Democrats and Independents believe in weak creationism. See here:
