I think it's high time we change the so called laws or rights that pedestrians have to jump in front of moving cars. This city has long since outgrown the small town courtesy of stopping for every pedestrian standing at the curb. It's a real nice gesture in a small town with a few cars about, and a few people walking about... BUT NOT IN 3 LANES OF RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC!!! People are getting hurt and killed way too often because the law no longer fits the situation. Unfortunately most people don't process change accordingly, so here we are encouraging a bad situation because it's the law? Let's get rid of all crosswalks on busy streets, they are nothing but ongoing hairy fucking situations that we force ourselves to righteously live with. Intersections with traffic lights and walk signs are plenty suffice. And when you're done trying to argue against this simple fact, go buy yourself some common fucking sense!!!!!!
Time to Change the Pedestrian Laws
