I love meeting people who are all out of tattoo real estate before they've hit the ripe old age of 25. So many experiences, bro.

The big ones with lots of art work on the upper arms are an example of people damaging their skin. I think keep it simple and don't get all crazy because your started a new life. Maybe he is for the first time being who he is. Portland is beautiful, and sometimes people do their own thing.

Portland! Where "doing your own thing" means doing exactly what everyone else is doing yet remaining convinced of your own unique snowflakeness.

Hate to break it to you, farm-boy shitkickers are getting plenty of tattoos back home in Iowa, too. The edginess has been diluted ever slightly when the 18yo Barbies at the mall have full back pieces of GG Allin

I don't know fads, trying to fit in, trying to be so out of sync it's trendy, going through that is a lot of fun (maybe not for your family and loved ones - but 'Hey they're not you'). Also don't go over the top with it...be vulgar with it...scare women and kids with it...or anything else nasty rude or mean. Now all of you shake hands, go back to your corners and At The Bell: I wan't a good clean fight.

Wow IA, you sound really into this person

Wow, your not from around here so let me ask you kindly to be nice. We all change up our appearances from time to time. That is a positive thing, and he likes the hipster look, it makes him happy, so why don't your be supportive, you guys are friends right? Act like it, just my opinion, and Oregonians are pretty nice people, so we liked to preserve that culture if you don't mind. Happy girls are the prettiest girls (Aubrey Hepburn);).
