Cute rant when I caught on you were talking about a pet. I guess the dog/cat is not a transplant. All you need to do is bitch about the way things were back 90 years ago, then you will blend right in.

You might have a real job so there is that hate coming at you. If I could tell you how many people I meet every week that hate on employed adults. It is hilarious. I should say, trying on ones nerves. You will get the hang of it.

As an unaffiliated, progressive voter who switched my registration to vote for Sanders, I will have no problem voting for Clinton if she is the eventual candidate. I prefer Sanders, but am old and wise enough to realize that his run may prove to be more about pushing the party and the eventual candidate further to the left...flexing the muscles of the progressive base, as it were..than about "winning". It sends a powerful message to the "establishment" (of which Clinton is decidedly a part) that they ignore the progressive base and its issues at their peril. Sander's success in terms of the popular vote will have lasting impacts on the party, shifting it further left after decades of it tilting right in response to an extreme right-wing.

And the "media" only controls us to the degree we are functionally illiterate.
