Do you work, live or go to school in a building built before lead pipes were outlawed? Then congratulations, it is likely you drink water with lead in it! It's unlikely the owners of these places have the resources to re-pipe these entire buildings, but a filter would make it safer to drink the water. Complete rehauls of plumbing systems are expensive, but I guarantee there will be school bond measures up for a vote here shortly. Spend your money wisely, get filters, and don't drink the water that comes out of every faucet in your home or business. This has been going on for generations and somehow smart people still exist. I foresee this being used as another tactic by greedy developers to tear down every piece of history they buy on the cheap. It isn't as difficult of a fix as everyone claims.
