You're an asshole. The city of Portland that designs idiotic blind crosswalks and intersections are assholes. Pedestrians that jump out in the middle of a 35mph+ street without looking are assholes. We're all assholes.

It might be seasonal. When I lived in NW Portland it was easier to notice that drivers start to take on an almost frantic quality as Autumn approaches, building through Halloween.
