This city was ruined when half our venues shut down in a matter of a couple years and all of the community super stars that inspired and motivated the youth to be a part of music and art and philosophy grew bellies and became used car salesmen on 82nd.

Portland died the moment Fred and Carrie aired the first Portlandia. The CITY changed. The people that came here looking for the Portlandia Experience did so without tinkers damn worth of care for the people of our city or what it had to offer. All they saw was a place that could be manipulated to suit their needs. The definition of an interloper.
