I don't think the law is the problem so much as the enforcement. The PPD and Fire Department are overworked and understaffed on days like these. Even if they get the calls, whether or not they have the people to spare is a different story.
Of course, these are the same geniuses that set off the biggest fireworks possible while thinking "It looks so easy. Who even needs a professional?" and don't think about how it's going to affect the neighborhood because they think the entire neighborhood is celebrating with them.
Have to agree. I live in Gresham and had at least one neighbor who thinks the giant house shaking fireworks should be a week long celebration... and even 2 weeks later there have been a couple nights of them going off up to 5 am. I sit here hoping they blow at least a hand off.
