It's a peaceful serenity for me. It's also an adventure. I also forgot to buy grandma some panties, my 6 yr old an I-pad, and some good butter sauce for the lobstah weez having. Much like years before, and last year, I went walking for enjoyment in these storms, as well as getting to work everyday, while a lot of the city "couldn't" get to work and Tri-met cancelled services for weeks on some bus lines. Part of my walk went over the 205. There were thousands of cars crawling. On neighborhood streets, and 82nd, a lot of cars too. There was not one car I saw with chains on. I let out some quite loud laughs at the madness on the 205. I saw tiny cars stuck on a small incline. I saw cars speedily gallivanting around. I was pretty much the only one walking around. I walked through a park with snow falling on my face, and tall trees dancing. I hope all those cars get to where they're going and don't spend hours travelling to Gladstone. I saw a few stalls on 205, but no accidents so that was nice. It's quite a sight up there on that overpass, being the only person in the world watching cars go by, and no one around. A few good songs came over on the I-pod, and I enjoyed some reflection watching the non sense below, with more nonsense in my head. Grandma's almost here so I hope she makes it. Knowing her, she won't have any chains on her car. She likes a little strong sauce too, if you know what I mean, after the kids go to sleep, so I guess we'll be stuck with her tonight.
To all a merry good night.
