Dear Neighbor,

I'm afraid it was I, who took the Christmas ornaments down from the tree in your front yard today (and put them on your porch.) But it was just too easy, and it is February after all. And while I'm not sure if I'm sorry for the act itself, I am sorry if I've made you feel uncomfortable, or that your neighborhood is filled with passive aggressive assholes. We did knock first to ask-yes, my four-year old helped-because every day when we walk by, she asks "Why are their Christmas decorations still up?" And I said that maybe you don't have time to take them down, or maybe you don't care, as you seem not to care about the wasted, rotten, fruit that falls from your trees in summer, or the dangling Halloween cobwebs that stayed up all through December. Maybe this will show you that at least, some of us do.
