Or lets think about how people before Christ didn't measure years as BC/E. The human race literally rewrote how we count years because of one ghost story. How about in the year 6,684 people will have the same amount of historical/time difference from us today as we have today from the completion of the very first pyramid in the Old Kingdom. You know what always got me, Joseph was 90 years old and Mary was 12-14 (depending on where you read it). So modern Christians wear a crucifix - a symbol of torture and execution - to celebrate the life of a man who was born to an underage girl by today's standards. You know what else is crazy, we literally have the technology to cleanly burn human waste AND generate upwards of 9 billion dollars worth of bio-gas, but we don't do it...I'm guessing Charmin holds a seat with the secret world order or something. It's absurd, we could literally be doing it but we don't, because talking about poop is weird. You know what else creeps me out, how we really don't know what happens in the afterlilfe. What if our brains and memories stay in tact - our options are terrible. Either you're burnt until your human vessel turns to ashes, or you're put in a box, where you patiently wait for your human vessel to rot and turn to dust, leaving only bones. If this IS the case, what option is better? Do we need something physical in the human world to retain memory (IE bones and why they are so important in ghost stories), or is it better to achieve true afterlife through burning (which is why some cultures burnt bodies during ceremony) Of course, ashes are still physical, so like, is the amount of mental afterlife impacted by the variable physical states or what? Next time you're shitting you can think about that and let me know what you think.
