Build it Portland. Well, first buy it. Then build it. I don't know how it happens but something like a rich developer sees an opportunity on property, approaches the owner, makes an offer that can't be refused, then voila, construction underway. Here's my travel sightings in the past week.

What am I missing? Oh, how I also see "For lease" signs on locations that have been that way for years. Or former businesses, out of business, empty spaces for years.
