She's no longer able to jump to her window or onto the couch. Her hind legs are weak which happens with kidney failure. She pees and poops everywhere. She no longer goes outside as often, much at all, especially with an open door. My heart breaks to see the decline. She wasn't mine to begin with. Her owner went travelling, I took her in temporarily, made a fort for her to have her own space in which she was coming into a home with 2 other boys. She adjusted, we became a family for a good many years, her owner never asked for her back, and I never offered. My boys are now gone. So I know.

Tell me when you're ready my old sweet girl.
Until then, you're still eating fairly good.
You're still coming to greet me when I come home.
And I will haunt you until the day you die with fluids.
