Actually, Grimm came in and occupied my neighborhoods for three days. They kept the old lady across the street from parking near her door- but let some intern park in front of her house, because, jingle keys. The trucks with generators were obnoxious.
Also, they tried to stop me from having tree trimmers come in during the shoot- the producer asked for the name of the company and were apparently going to go behind my back and not let them do the work. Apparently Portlandia's crew weren't such asshats.
If a production isn't nice, then just bring out the leaf blowers or blast music. The producers will try and stop you from using your own property, but it is a bluff. They are often assholes and I am glad the poster isn't another sheeple.

Before a recent shoot on our block, the producer or manager or whatever went around and gave everyone on the block a gift card to Freddy's. I guess that is exceptional. YMMV.

Ugh, I hate when people bring employment and money to Portland, too!
