I bet this is in response to that series of FUCKING AWFUL Chevy commercials, right? "Real people, not actors." As if actors were just wax figurines, or androids, or some other nonsense. Actors ARE real people...who are pretending to be OTHER real people.
Agreed Mostly: not all actors are feeling, caring people just like some people aren't feeling, caring people.
I fully appreciate what I consider to be 'good' actors because they can convey emotions like you describe. [Weeping openly at almost every episode of 'This is Us.' Also that Galactica thing.]
