I once watched a "houseless" person steal something from Goodwill. The employee went running after him. He got away, and employee came walking back in.

I found the whole thing embarrassing for the employee for caring so much for a shirt that got donated. What's the point? Who cares? So the guy got a 5 dollar shirt? You go running a few blocks? I guess you're a noble store employee.

But also the thief. Like come on, man. There's places that give out clothes for free. I work at one that assists with meals and clothes. There's a ton of place all over Portland, which we enable, and support houselessness folk. You just gotta be a little resourceful and do some research. Why put everyone through the stress, and yourself as well?

Shit, maybe you really wanted a certain shirt you just couldn't afford.
