I never make the mistake of thinking the underpaid, understaffed, UNDEREDUCATED police department care about my street or your street or any street in PDX. The fact that most first responders in our city live OUTSIDE of our city tells your something. When the big earthquake comes, it will be everyone for themselves. And if our first responders don't even live in our communities, how do we expect them to care about our communities? How will they even GET here with the bridges down (assuming they even WANT to get here)? Nobody will care about this question until it all hits the fan. Good luck.
Our "first responders" are not really "ours"
