Before we vote on your latest big ballot measure, which does seem to be for a good cause, can you let us know how much money you are paying out in settlements to employees? Even the big overtime nonpayment/late payment snafu payout of 2015 is unlabeled in your financial report - there's a big lump in one of the charts but there's no way to tell what it's for. And why all the confidential settlements and non-disclosure/non-disparagement agreements? I have heard of several - for overtime claims, disability, family leave, you name it. Are these even enforceable? Are they intended to keep this information from the public, or what? That does not seem good (very Trump-like, in fact), and there is a rumor that if the amount is under a certain cap you don't even have to tell Metro Council. Is this true? If so, the lack of transparency is concerning, as are the underlying claims.
