I've been feeling out for you for awhile, but now I’m ready to come ashore, and I have to say that it's wonderful to be here. I know this is supposed to be anonymous, but I thought I’d make a small exception. After all, I'm anonymous for most of the time, being only one of many, and I prefer to slip around in the shadows generally. Yet I'm glad they've finally given me my actual name, Covid-19, my proper address, my regards to the hardworking scientists for working with me in my game. Your scientists really are exceptionable beings, though it's a shame I have to go after the most infirm and the most elderly, for they really do have to put up with enough being lumped in nurseries; all the same, they have only the most accumulated bags of tender and flabby human tissue full of dying corpuscles in need of being disposed. Yes, we have existed long together here on earth, I watching you grow and die for generations, only to find this strange serendipitous turn of 'events' in this current incarnation of our world. But I'm just here to check up on you, see what you’ve been up to, and if you're perhaps ready for the more drastic things to come. I don't mean to scare you, but, to be honest, the earth has been complaining a lot to its life, and I feel dislodged, to be honest. You may look at me as a plague of locusts, but you know, you haven't been looking too good yourself either. I just want to say I'm a big fan of some of your work, despite your collective annihilative tendencies, which again, people have been complaining about.
Anyways, Portland, it's good to meet you. Stay fresh!
