The guy with his knee on Floyd's neck in the video is Derek Chauvin. The French tell stories about a soldier named Nicolas Chauvin, who served in the Grand Army of Napoleon. He may or may not really have existed, but his name became the root of "chauvinism." If you've ever watched '70s sitcoms, you'll recognize chauvinism as the way "women's libbers" referred to misogyny. Now it's just a squishy way of referring to bigotry of all types. I think this is what Jung would have called a meaningful coincidence.
