In this age of mask wearing in public spaces, please keep in mind those of us who are deaf or hard of hearing. As a lip reader it has been so uncomfortable to go anywhere where verbal communication is a must, which is mostly everywhere. People are such assholes when I try to let them know I can't understand them. It is making my life very hard. Being hearing disabled is hard enough as it is, but now it is impossibly frustrating and defeating. So I put off going anywhere or searching for a job because I can't hear or understand anyone with a mask on. I guess I will stay home and wait for Kanye's next tweet.
