Is this about the covid or customers not wanting to chat with you? Would you have the same response if they responded to your "can I help you find anything" with a polite "no, thank you"?

Could flip this right around, not everyone who comes into your store is required to regale you with conversation, nor are you entitled to it...

And for you complaints about people being out in stores during the pandemic, that's laughable. We've proven that stores can be open and people can be out shopping without causing a spread as long as were all wearing masks and following safe procedure. So would you prefer every goes back to home lockdown and all stores close for no real benefit?
