The only reason I wouldn’t want him to die would be so I can see him broke and rotting in prison later.

They tried to hide it but they were unsuccessful.
Odd, you say?
Trump has murdered over 212,000 Americans and sickened nearly 8 million (both numbers counting) because he chose do nothing and his response to the matter is "it is what it is."
He actively chose to kill people because he thought it would keep him in power.
He doesn't deserve death. He deserves to be a long hauler, a COVID case so bad he's sick for months if not years (they are a growing demographic) where he has to sit by and suffer. That is the only thing he cares about, HIMSELF. He has wrought catastrophic devastation to this country with his refusal to do his job. This is what he gets for lying to the American people. The virus does not care who he is.

As for who I give my empathy and compassion to - all of the people he exposed to the virus who have gotten sick or died. All of his followers who believe it's a hoax and refuse to wear masks or social distance.

Trump deserves to suffer. If he dies, that will be great for America, but him suffering and being viciously ill for a long, long time is what he deserves. OH and he was talking to people, fundraising, and meeting with Republicans when he knew he was sick, so who knows how many people he personally infected. Anyone still supporting him and wishing him well is clearly ignoring that he does not care about ANYONE. He does not care if his supporters die.
Herman Cain is dead because of Trump. 212,000 (actually a lot more as secondary casualties) are dead because of Trump. Millions have gotten sick, tens of millions are out of jobs, who knows how many will soon be homeless, and the country has been decimated - but you think it's odd that people want him dead? I think it's odd that people do not want him dead.

overheard at The Stranger:

"It's the ultimate gaslighting that the country is being asked to pray for their abuser and being shamed for not feeling sorry for him."
