Iโ€™m thankful for today.
To be alive.
To enjoy a Sunday walk in the beautiful Portland neighborhood
To drink my cup of coffee made by a friendly barista.
To have an enormous pile of books by my recliner to chose from.
To spend extra time with my kids who will in no time be grown and gone.
To have sweet conversations with my neighbors from my porch to theirs.
To have survived chemotherapy for 4 months in this time of COVID.
To have endured 6 weeks of radiation this summer.
To have been immune compromised in a time when everyone suddenly was wearing masks.
To be feeling โ€œhealthyโ€ for this season.
Iโ€™m thankful to have lived through this year.
To have hope for the future whatever comes.
