You would have thought Mt Tabor was Yellowstone today. Super bizarre.
Families with camp chairs set up on concrete, not knowing there are a million plusher spots in the park, overlooking the city and eating sandwiches out of their big cooler.
A wedding.
A million groups of teens and screaming kids.
Small groups of wide-eyed friends in hiking gear.
More coolers. More families with sandwiches.
A couple on a trail with a map asking me "Is this the Green Trail?" (?! Fuck if I know, I've only been here literally thousands of times)
Upon exiting, a jeep pulling in to park with their system blasting "Your destination is on the right."
.... Just, surreal. Never seen half this many bodies there at one time in over 30 years. Was Mt Tabor featured on the Travel Channel this week or something๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ
This *was* my park.
Portland.... Aiight, Ima head out.
