This upcoming has the potential to host all sort of outrageous and distracting events.

Some may be happenstance others may be engineered. Some may be a different flavor of tragic some may be heartwarming.

This is a painful process for them and for us. It’s natural to want to look away. It’s natural to want to hide and escape. It’s natural to want to change the subject to something more upbeat and hopeful.

Push through the pain.

The key is to stay focused on gun reform issues. Keep asking yourself and each other the hard questions about why we’ve together permitted this carnage for so long.

If a Senator, Congressperson or other public official hides from the press, dodges questions, or responds with BS NRA talking points, the next step is to ask their staff why they participate in their boss’s behaviors.

Business leaders need to come together and coordinate a unified response before they are outflanked by workers and unions.

All PACs, donors, and other organizations need to STOP ALL DONATIONS AND SUPPORT TO POLITICIANS ACCEPTING NRA FUNDS.

Do not do business with anyone with financial ties to the NRA.

Look beyond the national conversation and focus on putting state legislatures on record.

It’s time to amend the constitution to fix this.
