You forgot dumb posts in i, anonymous....

Or you can ignore all of that shit and do your own thing. I spend way more time in ethnic restaurants than the over-priced white version of the same thing that is never quite right and I don't really go out downtown anymore. Problem solved.

If those are your friends you are describing I would suggest you get some new ones and then you won't have all of that shit thrown in your face every day.

Jesus what a Debbie Downer! Have a Voodoo doughnut and a PBR and you'll feel MUUUUUCH better.

So, people being people in a big city. And yes, Portland is big.

Or you can step back and fall in love with Siri instead of Her.

I hate it when the leaves fall off the trees, laughter of people having fun, rich trashy people, and then there is the Ebola scare.

That ice cream truck and the ding dong music playing is about the worst. What a great rant, keep that wonderful attitude. Thank you for sharing!

Should've been titled:

Portland 2: Eclectic Brewskie Loo

Pretentious mercury commenters. Left them out

At least there aren't any FLUORIDATION CHEMICALS

They all moved to Portland to be around other people who are like themselves-- "weird" in the most generic, subjective sense.

But of course all they know how to do is tear each other apart. New standards are dreamed up and enforced, new levels of self-righteousness that we must all conform to. Have you gone somewhat-car-free to battle climate change? What meaningless gesture have you performed to stop the war in Syria? Did you pledge to order your Trenta Mocha Java Chips only from Stumptown from now on? Because if you haven't, I'm not sure you're really Portland. Maybe try living in Gresham, I've heard that it is everything Portland isn't and nothing that it is. Get me? Well, no matter if you don't, my trust fund can weather the next round of rent increases. That oughtta make things pretty clear

Massive generalizations! Things that people do everywhere!
13
Yeah, there are definitely some things that suck about Portland, but if you're looking for Utopia, it's on NE 33rd and Belmont.
14
^ yeah, just a block west of SE Rosa Parks Blvd.
15
Ah, you must be new in town.

I hate you for writing "different than you."

Please wait...
