You have to respect the native opinion.
2
Entitled? There isn't a crosswalk there, the street doesn't even line up evenly when it crosses 28th. I bet you walked into the street with total head up your ass disregard for your surroundings and dude had to stop suddenly.
3
You left out the part of where you flipped him off and told him what's up. Oh wait, you didn't.
4
"Portland has always been a place where people for the most part don't speed around acting like an entitled dip shit..."

No, like you, they just WALK around like entitled dipshits.
5
@ICE: It doesn't matter if there's not a marked crosswalk, pedestrians have an implied crosswalk at any intersection. Also, the "two blocks away when we started crossing" bit doesn't make it seem like a sudden thing.

@Anon: Even "native" cars have been trying to kill pedestrians since forever, it's kind of their thing.
6
Yeah, when the street is reasonably clear. I maintain this person is full of shit
7
Dude...anyone driving an 80's blue Volvo has been here...like forever and smoking some serious dope. If you don't understand that, you are new here so GTFO!! NOW!!
8
Dude, chill. He was just getting down to Hip Hop Hooray.
10
So it's always somebody else's fault, isn't it?
11
Correct usage is "My friends and I. . ." If you have friends, more accurately they were probably drinking acquaintances.

"Portland has always been a place where people for the most part don't speed around acting like an entitled dip shit"

Horseshit. Come out to my neighborhood on the edge of 82nd and see how the mostly born-and-raised Portlanders drive around our streets.

real portlander: *sees person do something they don't like*
real portlander: TRANSPLANT
14
And just like a native, he lacks the balls to tell the driver to fuck off in person. Nice job! that'll show him!

Amen I'Anon writer, amen. The joy of driving is that you know who all of the asshole transplants are as they haven't bothered to change their license plates.

Please wait...
