Pervert on a Train

Well done!!! You let a pervert loose to continue to victimize more people, rather than have the conductor call the police and have him arrested. Or maybe you didn't want to bother with being a witness and going to court to ensure he wouldn't do it again?

I know the person who this happened to and she told the conductor first and he didn't give a shit! She actually pressured him to call the police and he finally said he would call someone. Don't judge unless you know the whole story, Velma.

Well done lady.

I feel as much for the poor, the homeless and the mentally ill as the next pinko in this town, but just because it's ethically dubious to round them up and put them in camps doesn't mean we have to sit by and let them get away with this crap.

I know 3 people who have been assaulted by homeless dirtbags in the last 6 months. It's all fine for people to piss and moan about who's at fault, but normal people need to back each other up, even strangers.

If you see someone standing against one of these miscreants, do society a favor. Stand with them.

Next time just call 911. It's a sex crime.
5
I'd like to imagine I would've done something had I been there, but in all honesty, I'm kind of afraid of homeless people...and their penises.

Having been sexually assaulted and called the police about it, they don't give a shit about this type of call. The person who stood up for those women is an actual hero. I see the passive bystanders as accomplices. Their willingness to do nothing means they think this is ok, and that is fucking bullshit.
7
This happened to me a few years ago, fortunately I have a stun baton at all times with me. Needless to say, I zapped the pervert right in his peepee.
8
"except there were at least six other men sitting in that section. And not one got up to offer assistance."

If men are expected to take on a dominant role and get shamed when they don't, why is it not okay to expect women to take on outdated models of sexuality ?

Hey asshole, lots of "perverts" aren't homeless. Most homeless aren't dirt bags or perverts, Oliver. Most dirt bags I know have jobs and the internet. So yes, kudos for standing up against "perverts" but fuck your classism.

Passive bystanders as accomplices?

Sorry, but fuck you sister, this is America and
everyone packs heat. If you're in danger I'll strangle him but I'm not risking bullet wounds just because you had to see some bum's pee-pee

Wow, I've been a victim in this kind of situation before and it sucks. I'm stunned at people's negative reactions to the man who took a stand.

This happened to me last winter, and the process of reporting it to the driver, detaining the entire bus, having the police come, and have everyone know I was the reason that they were late, was scary and embarrassing, and I felt like shit. Then, after I had agreed to be a witness for the DA, the guy who had been jacking off next to me was apparently just charged with "interrupting public transportation," and the case was dropped because the charges were used to get him to plead guilty to theft from Fred Meyer or whatever.

I spent a lot of time wondering if I did the right thing reporting it, and then to have him not even be held accountable for any sex crime - reading this was like WOW IT WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY GREAT TO HAVE YOU ON MY BUS THAT DAY. THANK YOU. You are a beacon in a sea of trimet pervs.

Please wait...
