So sorry about your kitty. My heart hurts for you! My kitty also thinks she doesn't need to listen to me and I'm always afraid she'll get.

I'm also sorry for your horrible loss...yet admiring of the grace and magnanimity you showed her in response to it. People who don't own animals don't get how deep the pain of something like this is...a pet is part of your family, a relative in a way.
