I hear you, man. People are obsessed about skin color. I'm a white dude. But I tan easily and I get pretty dark. I get the same comments. I'm like, yeah, I'm tan. So what? Some people ask me if I'm part Native American or Latino. I'm not. I don't say, "wow, you are really white." Just grow the fuck up about skin color.

Are you the What Are You Woman from above? I'll say the same thing to you. You guys need to find something better to bitch about. Waaa! I'm a dark skinned white person! I get none of the stigmas that come from actually being brown, but the benefits of people thinking I'm exotic... boo hoo! Maybe if we want to bitch about something let's bitch about white men appropriating racial issues when they have absolutely fucking nothing to bitch about. Oh, someone thought you were Italian? Did they chase out of their store, call the cops who then tazed you and beat the fuck out of you? Do you get pulled over because you're tan, no? Shut the fuck up.

I've been getting asked this question my whole life and I kind of like it. I grew up near a reservation and people thought I was native. People in Italy spoke Italian to me. People in Spain spoke Spanish to me. Arabs think I might be Arab. You fit in everywhere. It's a blessing. Quit bitching about it. As for people asking about it. You don't fit the norm so they are curious. So, what. They probably are jealous or think you're attractive. Quit digging for something to be insulted about.
