Who cares? Here on the coast the day after the 4th of July metric tons of garbage have to be picked up. Fireworks pollute the water and air. Fireworks are all made in China.

People who refuse to give up fireworks are neanderthals with the minds of toddlers who think blowing things up is cool. Fireworks cause irreparable harm to the environment and to wildlife. They also cause immeasurable stress to those with PTSD and pets. Oh yeah and they cause fires like the one mentioned by @1 and house fires.

They and grievous bodily harm to many, stressing ER facilities for no other reason that people are stupid as fuck (though if you're blowing up fireworks, it seems only fair that you lose a limb or your face).
