I can't tell what offended you, OP. You're having a problem with how another person carries him/her/themselves? The other person -- operating in a noisy environment -- couldn't hear you? And that's a character flaw? And that was his/her/their one and only chance? And now he/she/they're on Top Secret Probation? How, oh, HOW will you let the other person know that he/she/they have ruined their own lives by not being able to hear you? What good is a grudge that you keep to yourself?
